Split Pack Orders and Associated Costs
From a logistics and handling perspective, purchasing by full crate (or full pallet) is always the most efficient and cost-effective method of supply. When a full crate (or full pallet) is dispatched intact, no additional labour is required for unpacking, sorting, repalletising or re-strapping. Freight charges are contracted with third-party haulage networks on a fixed minimum rate per pallet, meaning the transport cost per square metre is lowest when a full crate (or full pallet) is shipped complete.
For customers requiring smaller quantities, split crate options are available on selected products. However, additional handling, repackaging materials and fixed transport charges inevitably increase the unit cost. For this reason, pricing is structured progressively — the larger the quantity, the lower the unit rate, with the full crate (or full pallet) offering the most economical price per square metre.
Minimum Order Policy
The minimum order quantity for Paving Slabs is one full crate (or full pallet). This requirement does not apply to Stone Setts, Stone Cladding, or Split Face Tiles, which are packed differently.
Split crates are available only where the total order exceeds one full crate (or full pallet).
If an order is placed below the minimum full crate (or full pallet) quantity, it will not be processed for dispatch. An automatic refund will be issued to the original payment method within 3–5 working days, and confirmation will be provided by email.
Samples are excluded from this policy and remain available on selected product ranges.
